Lampworking - also known as flameworking or torchworking, as the modern practice no longer uses oil-fueled lamps. Although the art form has been practiced since ancient times, it flowered in Murano, Italy in the 1300s, and spread from there to the rest of Europe. Interested?

Each glass art piece is hand made and is unique and one of a kind. The pieces shown here are just an example of what is available via the glass gallery network. We feature handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces, each unique in its own way, no two are ever exactly alike.
